Ethan started tennis training with Shane from Tennis Inc. last year at age of 7. He did not have much exposure to sports prior to picking up tennis and hence lacking basic coordination skills. Just hitting the ball was a challenge! Shane worked on his psychomotor skills besides techniques. The training sessions were rigorous but fun. Ethan’s love for tennis grew as he developed his motor skills which was an essential building block for his tennis game. Nine months after, Ethan won his first mini tennis tournament. It was unbelievable win coming from a boy who couldn’t hit a ball just months ago!

It has been 1.5 years since we started and besides training with Shane, Ethan now takes part in group lessons coached by Karl and Ilona from Tennis Inc. Not only has he developed his tennis game further, he now has group of friends whom he enjoys his games with. He wouldn’t want to let a day pass without playing tennis. In the last few months, Ethan won a few more trophies from junior tournaments. Thanks Tennis Inc for igniting the spark in Ethan!

Since this testimonial Ethan has actually gone on to win the Singapore National Under 10 Singles title!
