To find a coach who can teach tennis in all of its forms – technically , tactically , physically , mentally and emotionally, is rare. Karl is the only coach in Singapore I have encountered who possesses this precious ability.

 

With 2.5 years in his presence, I have felt my game of tennis improve in all of its aspects. During our first lesson, considering my previous coaching experiences in Singapore , I was blown away by the knowledge Karl has of the game and how he implements it.

 

I could not have foreseen my transformation and development. In these 2.5 years my improvement has far exceeded my expectations of how good a player I thought I could ever be , and the progress which I have made is always elucidated when it comes time for a set or a match, the essence of tennis. I am forever indebted to his ability of teaching.

 

In retrospect Karl is a paragon of coaching, exceeding what I formerly mentioned because he has the ability to teach on and off the court. He exemplifies many life skills and values on a daily basis, in such a fashion that he almost passes them on. From him I have learned so much about time management, reliability, maturity, dedication, discipline, determination and hard work (even on the worst days).

 

He has a perspective all of us can only attempt to emulate and I feel like I have struck gold within Singapore when it comes to finding a coach who actually cares about my development and takes an interest in me. He is making me a better tennis player and ultimately a better man.
