Coach Karl is our jack of all trades when it comes to tennis coaching. Whether he is working with a 6-year-old who wants to focus on coordination or training a Davis Cup team, Karl has the tools for every trick. Karl’s Irish charm makes shaping up your game a tonne of fun too 🙂
Coach Karl is a great choice for children’s or ladies’ groups. When forming groups he considers different personalities as well as what level one is at to ensure that dynamics work well. Our clients love his weekly group sessions.
Interestingly, Karl has a degree in Finance and comes from a banking background, which makes him quite a hit with our financial clients who enjoy a good banter between sets. Karl is also a football fanatic and you often hear him in deep discussion over games with our footballing fans. His passion for tennis however, couldn’t keep him behind an office desk too long which led him to join Tennis Inc in 2012.

Qualifications and background : Previously based in Hong Kong, Ireland and the U.S., Karl is a Tennis Ireland and ITF Level 1 certified coach with 14 years of coaching experience.
Karl has used his own experience from gaining an ITF junior ranking to build experience working with WTA, ATP and ITF junior players, as well as multiple nationally ranked Singapore players. He is currently working with Ireland’s #1 ATP player, James McGee (ATP ranking high of #146).
